    1. “Spitshine”

‘Spitshine’, the intro song to Royal Burnout, leads you into a musical freak show. Like a rusted hardtop filled of strung out carnies and miscreants changing gears down a long desert road, and a rollercoaster that guides you through the soundtrack of a fucked up circus. Showcasing fast paced rhythms and black and white melodies, it’s the first song of a tall, downwards spiraling slope, and that’s only the beginning of the show. Welcome to Royal Burnout.”

    2. “Room #240”

“Imagine waking up facedown on the floor. Cigarette burns and ash in the defiled carpet, battling consciousness and the blur in your vision. The door has been left open, daylight floods in and you can hear voices outside, yet you’ve never felt so alone. Absent thoughts scrape at the insides of your head as you try and crawl for the door, but you’re being pulled back in, into ‘Room #240’.”

    3. “Buzzards”

“Buzzards circling wreckage of the past, picking at the scraps. Dropping the clutch, full throttle away from the bones and flesh. Now we’re leaving this mess behind, because you left us all to die.”

    4. “Monochrome”

“I Pull the mask over my eyes, the first one to the masquerade. I know what you want, and everything you need. I’m the drug and the doubt, the black and white addiction you crave. You can’t look back when you’re being followed by shadows and I’ve never felt more inviting. I’m the sinner that you need.”

    5. “Boozy Spool”

“Boozy spool is the mile marker where you know you’ve gone too far to turn back. It’s a dooming euphoria of circus music droning in your head. Creating murky doubt that’s towering over you, casting a long shadow, as you flow through the motions of a heavy mess. An abrupt awakening into sanity, as the cart violently derails from the tracks, and now you feel very much alive.”

    6. “Deathwish 62”

“The glowing lights of a vacant town fade away in the rear view mirror. Reminiscent of the heartache and gloom that ushered you away, now you have no direction or no real home. Stuck in a mental state somewhere between skepticism and delight, you’re only lonely.”

    7. “That Lefty Request”

“A stranger’s face that looks oh so familiar sticks out their hand. Dressed only in a sly grin, sideways intent and a mask of false word and emotion. Reaching for a support as their arm folds away, falling into the depths in a slow motion flail, the surface fades from sight as the face forms a crooked smile.”

    8. “Royal Burnout”

“The final act has ended, and sunrise illuminates the side of a torn down tent. Tattered, worn and exhausted of fascination, the sun burns away the sins of another night, but the show must go on. A trail of dust winds off into the distance as the sideshow drives away. Newly found riches and debt play a game of roulette with the thieves, as Vegas appears on the horizon.”
