TL;DR: Here are some playlists that I make for videos released in any given year. Plus, playlists for full-album streams for a year. Both sets begin with the most recent year and work their way back. If you have any suggestions for songs or full-album streams to include provide links in the columns below.

In the years since I launched this page I started created playlists to create a library of the songs and albums that I write about. A lot of music is released every week. A LOT! I am just one man and cannot write about it all. Many songs that don’t get their own individual coverage only make it onto the playlists.

It occurred to me recently that sharing these playlists would be a good way to give coverage to stuff that I don’t necessarily get to report on. It’s also an opportunity for everyone to hear something that they may not have gotten around to or discover something new. This also provides a playlist for work if you’re able to listen to music while you work that may work. I know, everyone has Spotify or Apple, but maybe you’re bored of whatever playlist you or the provider has concocted.

In addition to song playlists, I also make album playlists. These include albums, EPs, splits, etc. If you’re into “Best of…” lists, this is one way to settle on it.
