Kowloon Walled City have released the first single from their upcoming studio effort Grievances. Titled “Backlit”, the track can be streamed above courtesy of NPR. Vocalist Scott Evans said of the song:
“This song pretty much sums up the record. It was the first song we started working on, and one of the last ones we finished. Coincidentally, it’s about impostor syndrome — no matter how hard you work at something, it’s not good enough.”
The new record will be out October 9th through Neurot Recordings, with Gilead Media handling vinyl versions. Pre-orders can be found at this location.
