Official press release:
New England based black metal sect, Infera Bruo are the newest members of the Prosthetic Records roster! Infera Bruo vocalist and guitarist Galen states:
“We are honored to work with Prosthetic, a leader in extreme music, and home to many legendary bands past and present. Infera Bruo look forward to a fruitful relationship, allowing us to project our dark art into further reaches.”
Featuring members of Trap Them, Cul de Sac, and Pillory, the black metal quartet takes listeners on a journey through discordant riffs, thumping blast beat drums and moving harmonies into a soul transcending realm of eternal darkness. Infera Bruo isn’t progressive for the sake of being progressive, they just do what comes natural. Cerement, the band’s third full length LP is a testament to that.
Consume the first taste of Infera Bruo with lead off single, “Shroud Enigma” streaming now via Metal Injection:
Produced by Baudhuin and mastered by Brad Boatright; Cerement contains 8 tracks of at times, warm and lush, while at others, harsh and cold, black metal. Acoustic guitars interplay with jarring electrics. While all of this in of itself would create a black metal masterpiece, what sets the band well above their peers are the beguiling riffs found throughout the album. If Voivod were to have grown up listening to Emperor, one could say they would sound very similar to Infera Bruo. Set for official release on September 7, 2018 via Prosthetic Records; Cerement will available on all digital outlets, compact disc and black and grey smoke LP.
