Yesterday saw the surprise release of Dead Cross’s self-titled EP via Ipecac Recordings. You can purchase the effort digitally here, with a 10″ edition due on June 29th. The group have also released a music video for the track “My Perfect Prisoner”, check it out below along with an EP stream. Bassist Justin Pearson said of the group’s goals:
“I think part of Dead Cross’ motives are to bridge gaps between useless genres and definitions. Part also might be to just burn that shit down. It’s in our collective DNA. Either way, as long as people love it or hate it, we succeed.”
The outfit will embark on a tour of Europe next month with support provide by ZEUS! and Dälek.
