According to a new report over at Billboard.com, the recently announced 2023 Pantera tour will feature Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne) and Charlie Benante (Anthrax) filling in for Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul, respectively. This is according to a source close to the band, as reported by Billboard.
The piece states that the estates of Dimebag and Paul have approved on the tirbute act, which will include Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown, two members of Pantera’s classic lineup.
While no dates have been revealed, the outing is said to see the group headlining “major festivals across North America and Europe”, as well as individual headlining dates.
