In an interview on Jon’s Untitled Podcast, frontman Chad Nicefield revealed that he microdosed with LSD during the recording of the record. He said:

“I felt something so euphoric and weird, like, the clairvoyance of all of the issues I’ve ever had in my life… like why this person might feel this way towards me, or I feel this way towards them. I don’t know how to exactly describe that feeling, except I fucking got it. I get it now.”
