The Mars Volta announce self-titled album; debut video for new song “Vigil”

Following the release of two singles this summer – “Blacklight Shine” and “Graveyard Love”The Mars Volta have officially announced that they will be releasing their first full-length in a decade. The self-titled effort is scheduled for release on September 16th via Clouds Hill. A video for a new single, titled “Vigil” has also surfaced and can be found below. The clip was directed by the band’s own guitarist/composer Omar Rodríguez López. You can also stream the track from your preferred digital platform here.
