Official press release:

Post-metalcore band Phantoms have announced the forthcoming release of their new EP, Screaming On The Inside, set for August 11th, 2017 with Outerloop Records. Screaming On The Inside was produced by Drew Fulk and Kile Odell at Think Sound Studios (Failure Anthem, Emmure, Crown The Empire). Along with the announcement, the band released the leading track from the record, “Stuck”, exclusively with Lambgoat. “Stuck” is a high-energy song merging heavy rock and electronic elements with hard hitting breakdowns, catchy choruses and honest, creative lyrics. The track holds a deep meaning many can relate to, as vocalist Joe Deak elaborates:

“This song hits home with me because it captures the general feelings and mindset I was going through over the span of writing the album. I was having a lot going on in my life and it seemed like no matter what positive progress I was making, I wasn’t getting anywhere. I knew what I was trying to do and the goals I was trying to achieve, but whatever I did wasn’t getting me anywhere. At the time it basically felt like I was treading water and barely able to breathe.”

As a band, Phantoms focuses on the message that you should never give up on your dreams and the importance of living life to the fullest. Gale, the band’s drummer expands:

“No matter how tough things get…never give up. Take a deep breath, assess your situation, keep an open mind to criticism and learning, and really ask yourself if what you’re pursuing is worth every moment of your attention….No one is going to make things happen for you, you’ve got to do them yourself!”

Phantoms have gained a dedicated following that has been anxiously waiting for the band’s next move since the release of their debut EP, Where Is My Mind?, in December of 2015. Pre-order Screaming On The Inside here.
