Official press release:
Maryland post hardcore outfit Hostile Array have announced their politically charged debut self-titled full length, set to release June 1st. Blending tight melodic riffs, crunchy bass lines and harsh vocals, Hostile Array brings a heavy, yet catchy metal record to the table. Vocalist Brendan Frey comments:
“This album really focuses on some of the political issues that frustrate me the most. I don’t consider myself to be very liberal or conservative, but I am passionate about addressing issues of corruption on both sides of aisle. Our hope is to motivate others to question the status quo and never compromise when it comes to demanding justice in our system.”
Along with the new single, the post hardcore quintet have premiered a music video for their new single “Warmonger”. Outspoken about the corruption between the media and politicians, the new song is about the false information used by the media to gain the support of violent foreign policies in the United States and how these politicians spin their stories to fit their own agenda’s instead of presenting the full picture to the public. Frey adds:
“The video for ‘Warmonger’ focuses on a subject that has lost a loved one to war, all while struggling with uncovering complex lies and cover ups through leaked documents.”
