GWAR have announced a spring North American tour in support of their upcoming full-length The New Dark Ages. Supporting them on the run will be Crowbar, Nekrogoblikon, and The Native Howl. Band leader Blothar the Berserker said of the upcoming trek:
“Ah, the cruel Spring, when life bursts forth and humans are reminded how dead they are inside! The horrific majesty of GWAR will blow through your town like painted ladies working the block for that rock.”
Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 4th; with early access to fan club members kicking off on Thursday, March 3rd. The same lineup will embark on a European leg this summer.
The New Dark Ages is scheduled for release on September 16th through the band’s own Pit Records. Pre-orders are available now here.
