Gold have released a music video for their new single titled “The Controller”. Vocalist Milena Eva offers:
“‘The Controller’ is a sweet little post-black metal song about a confusing world, which comes with a confusing video. What is real? Is ‘in real life’ actually taking place in the outside world? And who’s in charge?! It is a psychedelic collage of beautiful offline and wondrous online footage: the Normandy sea, Moroccan Alpine choughs, ASMR, banana tutorials and crying babies. Have you taken your pills? Or are you getting out of control?”
The song is taken from their upcoming studio release No Image, which is scheduled to hit stores November 6th through Profound Lore in North America and October 24th through Ván Records in Europe.
Early September saw the debut of the band’s second single from the effort titled “Shapeless”. That track can be heard below courtesy of Pop Matters.
