Tucson stoner/sludge outfit Godhunter and Texas doom/sludge collective Destroyer Of Light have teamed under the moniker Godhunter vs. Destroyer Of Light to bring you a double LP titled Endsville. The effort brings you 20 minutes of new material from the bands in the form of two 12″ EPs that will be packaged in a gatefold setup on different colors of wax; a digital release will also be available. The affair will be collaboratively released as well by Battleground Records (co-owned by Godhunter) and Destroyer Of Light’s Heavy Friends Records, hitting stores on July 28th. A video trailer, cover art, track listing, and singles from the record will go live in the coming weeks.
The duo will also embark on a tour in support of this venture. Dubbed the Godhunter vs. Destroyer Of Light Endsville Tour, the trek will take the band across twenty-five U.S. cities from July 29th through to August 22nd and include an appearance at the inaugural Death To False Metal Festival in Hamden, Connecticut on August 14th.
Prior to these stops, Destroyer Of Light will be out on their own for three weeks on the Journey To Psycho Land, as they make their way to California for the Psycho California. They will be performing on May 15th date of the three-day festival alongside Cult Of Luna, Russian Circles, Eyehategod, Old Man Gloom, Bedemon, Cave In, and more.
