That right there is the insanely metal cover art for Bay Area thrashers Exodus’s upcoming 10th studio album Blood In Blood Out. The album is scheduled to hit shelves on October 14th through Nuclear Blast.
The awesome artwork is a gift to us from Swedish artist Par Olofsson. Exodus axeman Gary Holt said the following about Olofsson’s work:
“The concept came from Par Olofsson – I fed him the title and he immediately came up with the final concept, and it’s perfect! One of my favorite covers we’ve ever done and it fits the title and theme to a T!”
I think the fact that the album artwork has been released means that we’re closer to the premiere of new music. I for one can’t wait til they leak a new song from the album because I’m dying to hear some new Exodus.
Blood In Blood Out features the return of Steve “Zetro” Souza on vocals after parting ways with Rob Dukes.
