Battleground Records has hammered out a deal with Los Angeles area-based black/death metal quartet, Deceive, for the release of the band’s forthcoming debut album. The band is currently writing and demoing material for the record, with plans of entering the studio to record later this year and releasing the LP in 2016.
Founded in 2011, Deceive is drawing attention across their home region through the release of two EPs a demo and a live album, as well as regular live shows. Offer the band on the signing:

Deceive continues to book new shows into the remainder of the year, including an upcoming set at the inaugural California Deathfest in Oakland on October 9th through 11th with Infest, Autopsy, Immolation, Excel, Impaled, Dead Infection, Gnaw Their Tongues and more, as well as Grindcore 2015 on in Los Angeles on November 6th and 7th with Cripple Bastards, Excel, Hirax, Despise You, Morbosidad, Gravehill and many others.
