Speaking of the single, frontman Andrew Neufeld explains:
The theme of the title track ‘Chosen Hell’ on our new album touches on morality and ethics. Something as simple as right or wrong. Good or evil. Healthy or unhealthy, and our ability to make a choice. Often, we are incapable of choosing the right thing, and we find ourselves in situations that we know hold us back, therefore affecting our own well being. The outcome is what we make of it.
Of the record, Neufeld adds:
“Overall, I was able to let my guard down a little bit while writing for this one, and took more input from everybody else. It was really collaborative that way, which is also kind of new for us.”
In addition to the album announcement the group have shared dates for U.S. and European tours. This fall, the band will head out across the U.S. with varying support. Select dates will feature Defeater, The Warriors, Dead Heat, Fear of Loss, Slow Pulse, Barrio Slam, and Time X Heist. January will see the band head overseas with Haywire, Whispers, and Speedway.
