The message above was posted earlier today officially putting the Cleveland metal outfit to rest in the wake of every band member – save for founder Mark Hunter– exiting.
I am not exactly the biggest Chimaira fan but it really sucks to hear that so many of the bands that helped introduce me into heavier and more extreme music are calling it a day (Shadows Fall, Bleeding Through, God Forbid). Hopefully we’ll see some reunions in the future, I’m not expecting them anytime soon but maybe one day.
