Last week’s countdown (and song leak) has led to the premiere of Beartooth’s music video for the title track of their new record, Disease. Additionally, an audio stream for the track “Bad Listener” is now available via YouTube. That song debuted on Sunday on the Rock Show With Daniel P. Carter. Frontman Caleb Shomo said of the record:
“The album is a whirlwind of emotion. Crazy highs, crazy lows, and lots of intensity. This record isn’t about winning anything. It’s about trying to even begin to learn how to deal with things. It’s hard to process just how dark you can get, what you can really put yourself through with expectations. It’s like starting from the beginning all over again. At the end of the day, it is a very dark album.”
Disease is scheduled for release on September 28th via Red Bull Records. The album was tracked and mixed at Blackbird Studios by Shomo with Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush) on board as executive producer. Pre-order options are now live as well on at BeartoothBand.com.
Beartooth have also announced a headlining tour in support of Disease. Supporting them on The Disease Tour will be Knocked Loose and Sylar. Get the dates below; tickets on sale this Friday.
