Official press release:

Banjo-attacking murderfolk soloist Amigo The Devil has signed a worldwide deal with Regime Music Group for the release of his debut full-length album in mid-2018. Danny Kiranos, better known to the masses as his musical counterpart Amigo The Devil, has been challenging the expectations of folk music, traditional country purists, and rock/metal fans alike with his dark, whiskey-fueled take on folk/bluegrass.

Amigo The Devil has also been added to the growing roster at The Oracle Management, the firm owned and operated by Coal Chamber/DevilDriver frontman Dez Fafara & Anahstasia Fafara. After becoming a massive fan and ally, Dez took Amigo’s music to Regime Music Group’s Kevin Zinger who became enthralled upon hearing the music and proclaimed:

“Danny is the most talented person I’ve come across since first seeing Brad Nowell of Sublime!”

From the moment Amigo The Devil released his first track “Perfect Wife”, a haunting tale of spousal abuse that unfolds into a gruesome yet rewarding revenge story, fans were rabidly looking for their next fix of Amigo’s morbid, yet oddly romantic, take on folk. After recording his debut EP “Manimals”, The Devil quickly sold out of the first record pressings entirely via word-of-mouth and found himself with a cult following of fans (with over 250 Amigo tattoos and counting) who were asking when he would hit their town. Self-released, with no booking agent or management, The Devil traded in his master’s degree in brewing and began touring the country extensively, playing shows with a DIY-punk-rock mentality. Playing amongst such diverse groups as Tiger Army, Dave Hause, Pig Destroyer, Slim Cesna’s Auto Club, and Death In June, has allowed Amigo The Devil to form his own stage show into an emotional rollercoaster with sing-alongs and humor that make the grim topics approachable to anyone. He has made a craft of helping dark hearts tell their love stories one song at a time.

Before entering the studio, Amigo The Devil will be embarking on the nationwide Dark Hearts Tour with Andrew Sheppard, Mike Frazier and Wil Ridge throughout October/November.
