Official press release:
Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, atmospheric metalcore powerhouse 156/Silence has today announced their new album From A Distance, set for release on September 4 via Pure Noise Records. From A Distance will be the band’s sixth album and latest body of music since 2024’s fan-favorite People Watching. In celebration of the news, the quintet has released the first single from the forthcoming full-length “No Arms“ and the official music video. When asked about the inspiration behind the track, the band shared:
“‘No Arms’ is about being without a way to protect yourself and what belongs to you. Being alone and afraid, not having any means to control the situations that befall on us. The overwhelming feeling of being helpless until we’re not. Until somebody saves us.”
