Earlier today Havok announced that drummer Pete Webber will not be joining them on certain dates of their upcoming North American tour with Crowbar, Revocation, and Fit For An Autopsy, and Armed For Apocalypse in order to stay with his mother after an accident. Wretched’s Marshall Wieczorek will be sitting in for Webber. You can read the what the band shared on their Facebook, along with Webber’s statement, below. Tour dates follow the message:

As previously announced, Havok will return to North America this fall, starting with a USA/Canadian run alongside Crowbar and Revocation, followed by a headlining trek in Mexico. Unfortunately, due to a family emergency, Pete Webber (drums) will sit out select dates on this upcoming tour, with Wretched’s Marshall Wieczorek filling in temporarily.

Pete comments: “As some of you may have heard, my mother was in a tragic accident and is in very serious condition in the ICU in Boston. This unfortunately means I will have to miss out on at least a portion of our future shows. I must be by mom and family’s side during these difficult times… Our pal Marshall from Wretched will be filling in on my duties. He is a good friend of ours and a great drummer! I know he will do an awesome job in my absence! I hope everyone understands and keeps my mom in their positive thoughts and prayers. It helps in a big way to have the support! I will return as soon as I can to my bros in Havok and wish them all the best on this next run!”
