Ethereal doom weavers Worm Ouroboros recently debuted a new track off their upcoming album, What Graceless Dawn, titled “(Was It) The Cruelest Thing”. The band offering on the song:
“In many ways this album is darker and rawer than our previous two, and hope plays a smaller role. ‘(Was It) The Cruelest Thing’ is a love song to the memory of beauty when hope and light are extinguished. It’s the lie the heart manufactures in order to keep beating once all context is gone.”
What Graceless Dawn was recorded and mixed at Earhammer Studios with Greg Wilkinson (Brainoil, Pallbearer, and Noothgrush). It is scheduled to hit stores through Profound Lore on December 2nd and is now available for pre-orders at this location (physical) and this one (digital).

1. “Day”
2. “Broken Movements”
