We Ride have unleashed their new single “What You Are”, listen here courtesy of New Noise Magazine. The song features a guest spot by Deez Nuts vocalist JJ Peters. Frontwoman Mimi Telmo comments on the track and the collaboration with Peters, saying:
“‘What You Are’ is about the fine line split between friendship and indifference. No matter how hard you try to salvage a relationship, sometimes you just have to walk away.
I’ve always been a Deez Nuts fan, and when meeting JJ in person, I saw that he is not only a great front-man, but also a lovely person. Over the years we became good friends and we always have a great time when we share a stage together. While writing this song, I felt it was perfect for JJ and I love how it turned out!”
