Guitarist Wayne Lozinak of Hatebreed has provided an update on his health, sharing that he is currently at home recovering after undergoing brain surgery for a benign tumor. The tumor was discovered this past June while on tour in Europe after Lozinak experienced symptoms that warranted a trip to the hospital. Taking to his Instagram account, he shared the following:
“Hello everyone! I’m finally home. Last week was rough! But I’m getting better every day. Gonna be a while before I get fully recovered, but it’s going good! I want to thank you all for all the messages. I didn’t have my phone in the hospital, so that’s why I didn’t respond. Just started to look over them today. I really appreciate it! Made me feel good!
I also want to thank @katnacario!!! She stayed with me in the room all week, and contacted people to let them know what was going on. She is the greatest! I love You!
My surgical team was great! Big thanks to @kims.living.life for getting me the best care, and checking on me every day!
