Poetic post-hardcore outfit VVomen (pronounced “wim-in”) has premiered their first-ever video for their new single “Cadence And Carousel”. Frontman Tim Bastiaans explains:
“Though you’re excited and happy about being married, you’re also worried about what you can provide to the relationship. The intro is based heavily on Shadow Over Innsmouth by HP Lovecraft which is about an underwater village. I was reading a lot of Lovecraft at the time and I just thought it sounded cool.”
The song is taken from the quartet’s upcoming EP Moving On. It was produced/engineered by Pat Hills at Earth Tone Studios (Tera Melos, SHARKS). Pre-orders are available now at VVomen‘s Bandcamp.
Moving On EP track listing:
1. “Catching Flies”
2. “Cadence And Carousel”
3. “Blueprints”
4. “Bad Grammar”
5. “Crutch And A Stoma”
6. “Lessons In Humility”
