Unwritten Law will be releasing their eighth studio album Acoustic on April 1 via Cyber Tracks. The album is a 13-track effort made up re-recorded, acoustic renditions of hits from the band’s last four albums (Unwritten Law (1998), Elva (2002), Here’s To The Mourning (2005), Swan (2011)) and compilation The Hit List (2007). The band recently announced pre-orders for the release, which include digital copies, a limited edition 12″ vinyl with picture disc vinyland seamonkey egg (400 copies only), and a CD pre-order bundle that comes with an exclusive shirt, beer koozie, and digipak CD (available only from March 1st to March 21st). Pre-orders for the former are available via Cyber Tracks, while the latter is being handled by SmartPunk.
In other, more serious news, Unwritten Law frontman Scott Russo underwent surgery last week. For what it has yet to be revealed, but the vocalist/guitarist is now home and doing well according to a post on the band’s Facebook.
Scott is home and doing great! Thank you so much for all your support. In other good news, our Vinyl / CD / iTunes…
