Detroit prog-rock outfit Tiles’ anticipated sixth full-length Pretending 2 Run is set for release on April 15th through The Laser’s Edge. Today, the band have released a new trailer showcasing the all-star cast of guest musicians that are appearing on the effort.
The clip – which can be seen below – features the father-and-son collaboration of Mike Portnoy (Winery Dogs, ex-Dream Theater) and Max Portnoy (Next To None) in the studio. Footage of Mike Stern (Miles Davis) recording his parts also appears; along with other guests which include Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Adam Holzman (Steven Wilson Band), Kim Mitchell (Max Webster), Colin Edwin (Porcupine Tree), Kevin Chown (Tarja Turunen, Chad Smith), Matthew Parmenter (Discipline), Mark Mikel (Pillbugs), and Joe Deninzon (Stratospheerius).
