Official press release:
Canada’s melodic thrash metallers Threat Signal have a lot in store for the near future, now that their new album Disconnect is finally on the way. The band will be paving the way for its early 2017 release on road, having teamed up with death metal heavyweights Vader and Hate Eternal for a European tour starting this November. The first dates have been revealed and are available below.
On top of that, the upcoming tour will officially introduce Christian Olde Wolbers (ex-Fear Factory) as Threat Signal’s new live bassist. Christian will be taking the place of Pat Kavanagh – the band’s long-standing member and co-author of Disconnect – only at shows, as Pat will continue his work with the band off stage.
Threat Signal commented:
“We would like to officially welcome Christian Olde Wolbers (ex-Fear Factory) into Threat Signal as our new bass player! Christian has been involved with us since the very beginning, having produced and recorded our debut album Under Reprisal. He recently preformed live with us during a short string of local dates, and we had a blast!”
On the upcoming European tour, they added:
“You can catch us this November touring Europe alongside Vader and Hate Eternal. We are very excited to bring our live show across the pond again! Especially playing with bands of this caliber. Can’t wait!”
Threat Signal’s highly anticipated new album, Disconnect, will be the first one for Agonia Records, after the band left Nuclear Blast’s roster earlier this year. It’s final release date and details will be revealed over the coming weeks.
