UK based metalcore outfit This Dying Hour have released a music video for their cover of the Linkin Park/Jay-Z mashup “Points of Authority/99 Problems/One Step Closer”. The track originally appears on the 2004 collaboration between Linkin Park and Jay-Z, Collision Course EP, which featured six mashups. The band released the cover as a tribute to late Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington, who passed away on July 20th, 2017. The band comment:
“Ultimately, we had a lot of fun producing this cover and although we will never be a ‘preachy’ band, this has given us the opportunity to continue Chester and Jay-Z’s message in the positive way it was intended.”
