Veteran rockers The Academy Is… have announced the release of a new record; their first in 18 years. Titled Almost There, the album is scheduled to arrive on March 27th via I Surrender Records. Speaking of the album, vocalist William Beckett shared:
“Almost Here was the beginning. Almost There is the reflection. It’s about checking in with who you thought you’d be twenty years later, seeing what changed, what stuck, and what still feels like home.”
The announcement comes with the debut of the video for their new single “2005”. Directed by Tyler Common, you can find it below. Pre-orders for Almost There are available now here.
