Progressive metalcore unit Textures have announced the release of their sixth full-length record Genotype. The effort, the Dutch group’s first in a decade, is scheduled for release through Kscope on January 23rd. The band self-produced it with mixing provided by Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus). Pre-orders are now live and can be purchase here.

This past summer, Textures sampled the effort with the release of “Closer to the Unknown”. The group have followed that up with a new track titled “At the Edge of Winter” featuring former Delain singer Charlotte Wessels. The clip was directed by the band’s bassist Remko Tielemans.

  4. “Nautical Dust”
  5. “Vanishing Twin”
