Dutch progressive metallers Textures entered Split Second Sound Studio last week to track the follow up to 2011’s Dualism. The new album will be the first to feature guitarist Joe Tal. Former guitarist Jochem Jacobs, who left in 2012, will be producing and mixing the upcoming album with the aid of Yuma van Eekelen (Exivious/ex-Pestilence) as co-producer/engineer. The band commments:
“We are thrilled to be back in the studio after such a long time. We know our fans are waiting for a while now as our previous album Dualism has been released 4 years ago already. We have spent a long time making the songs really fit, so we can tell you this album will have something in store for every Textures fan out there and even more than that!!”
The new album is expected to be released early next year through Nuclear Blast Records.
