Canadian hard rockers Sumo Cyco have announced their upcoming fourth studio effort, Neon Void. The group will be self-releasing the album via their label Cyco City Records on October 24th. On the decision to independently release Neon Void frontwoman Skye Sweetnam shares:
“It’s important to us to stay true to who we are. To make the art we want to make on our own terms. That’s why we’re releasing Neon Void independently. It feels empowering to take our fate into our own hands and break down all barriers between our music and our fans.”
The group have also shared the cover art for the effort, which was helmed by Francesca Ludikar. Find it below.
Sumo Cyco gave fans a taste of what’s to expect on Neon Void with the single “Villains”. The group will debut a new single titled “Shivers” next week.
