“The idea for the ‘When the Light Has Gone’ video came up from the concept of a ‘sinister love,’ where a girl appears committing a crime, trying to bury her love, and goes on a trip in her head. The band is split into two acts—one real, one fantasy. We appear as a gypsy jazz band at one point, which contrasts with the ‘real’ StarAce playing a small, sweaty underground club. The audience holds flashlights as a reference to the song’s title. The end of the video is the BEST—we hope fans enjoy the revealing twist!”
