The single also features a lyrical reference to their 2019 debut, “Like a God”. Speaking of this nod to the single, guitarist Lorenzo Accàttoli said:
“In ‘Like A God’ we said ‘it’s my turn to roll the dice, and play this game like a God’, because it was our debut single and we were so confident and ready to put ourselves out there in the industry. Some years has passed, a lot of good things happened for our career but we’re still not where we want to be; with ‘Inevitable’ we wanted to remind ourselves that we’re still playing, that we’re always gonna improve and that we can and will, eventually succeed.”
