Official press release:
As Ohio-formed blackened heavy thrashers’ Skeletonwitch begin their month long trek on the Decibel Magazine Tour alongside Abbath, High on Fire and Tribulation, the quintet have announced they will be selling a limited amount of copies of the hand-screened, hand-numbered 7″ vinyl version of their newest single “Well of Despair” exclusively on all upcoming dates. Check out a listing of dates at this page to find out when the band will be coming near your town!
“Well of Despair” – the first new music from the quintet since their acclaimed 2013 release Serpents Unleashed and debut of vocalist Adam Clemans – showcases what Noisey hails as a “cold blast of icy, melodic black metal” with “plenty of shredding” and can be heard here. Fans can also grab a digital download of “Well of Despair” via Bandcamp, iTunes or Amazon MP3.
Skeletonwitch are excited to announce “Well of Despair” will be featured on their upcoming EP, titled The Apothic Gloom. Recorded earlier this year at Baltimore’s Developing Nations with Kevin Bernsten (Noisem, Mutilation Rites), the band will be performing another chilling new track, “Black Waters”, live for audiences on the remaining dates of the Decibel Magazine Tour. Expected out later this summer, check out the album’s track listing below and stay tuned for further details on The Apothic Gloom in the coming week.
The Apothic Gloom track listing:
1. “The Apothic Gloom”
