Sludge/crust trio Romasa’s debut album, Cheering Death, is due out on March 1st. The group captured the effort at Hightower Recordings Studio with producer James Whitten (Thou, The Body, Ossacrux) and mastered by Brad Boatright (Gatecreeper, Necrot) at Audiosiege. The cover art, found below, was created by artist Ogi.

The first single, “Pleasure Is My God”, is now streaming and can be heard here. The band said of it:

“Like the greedy business man who orders the TGI Fridays cheeseburger without realizing it comes with bacon and avocado, Romasa’s ‘Pleasure Is My God’ will surprisingly nourish the listener with tasty riffs, beefy bass lines, and meaty rhythms. Your crust laden ear drums will not walk away hungry after devouring this filth-dripping masterpiece.”

Creeping Death will be available on cassette (limited to 100 copies) and vinyl to follow. Pre-orders can be found here.
