Official press release:

MNRK Heavy is pleased to welcome Denver rock/post pop punk outfit RELATE. to its roster!

RELATE. (stylized with a period) formed in 2021 as vocalist Duncan Slack’s acoustic solo project during COVID-19. Near the end of 2021, the solo act evolved into a four-piece band with the addition of guitarists Thomas Dalton and Zachery Fitzgerald and drummer Diego Valenzuela. The band spent the majority of 2022 playing shows in their home city and self-recording their debut EP, Chemical Condition, in early 2023. RELATE. immediately began touring the Southwest in support of the release and, in between short runs from Denver to California, the band wrote, self-recorded, and released the singles “Linger” (2023) and “Sludge” (2024).

During the summer of 2024, RELATE. recorded their second EP, Have I Ever Done Anything?, with producer Jay Maas. Shortly after recording the EP, bassist Emilio Lujan joined the group. RELATE. decided to release the EP independently in late 2025, starting with the lead single, “Constant Pressure”. The band spent the majority of 2025 touring in support of the EP with peers Troubled Minds (AZ) and All Hype (OR) while independently releasing singles from the EP.

Now, RELATE. will re-release the Have I Ever Done Anything? EP on vinyl in Marble and Splatter variants this Spring via their new label home, MNRK Heavy. Fans can find pre-orders at https://relate.ffm.to/haveidoneanything.
