Australian metalcore group Northlane have announced their new full-length, Anemoia, will arrive on October 30th through Immortal Music Group. The effort, their seventh overall, was produced by Jordan Fish, with mixing by Buster Odeholm. Speaking of the album, vocalist Marcus Bridge shared:
“There’s darkness here, but it’s not nihilism – and there’s hope, but it’s not naivety.”
The group have also released a video for new track titled “CUT_it”. The clip was directed by Colin Jeffs and can be found below. Of the track, Bridge commented:
“‘CUT_it’ is about burnout – the feeling of grinding through things when you’re completely spent, mentally and physically. The imagery is deliberately visceral, painting a picture of that exhaustion rather than analysing it.”
