Official press release:

Prosthetic Records is proud to announce the signing of Joliet, IL death metal band, Molder. The trio have recently completed work on their second album, and will be playing two shows in the coming months – with more in the pipeline.

Of their new label home, the band commented:

Molder is beyond chuffed to announce our signing to Prosthetic Records. This record deal is the official corroboration that all of our endless hard work and steadfast dedication did not go unnoticed. With that said, we look forward to bringing our brand of twisted midwest death metal to the masses with the support of such an eminent label. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working together with the Prosthetic team, and we look forward to what is to come with this opportunity.”

Blending thrash and death metal, whilst conjuring up something that embodies all things heavy, filthy and unholy, Molder released their debut full length, Vanished Cadavers, in March 2020 via independent labels, Headsplit, Goat Throne and Rotted Life. A series of live shows with the likes of Cardiac Arrest, Derketa and Autopsy created a further buzz around the band, catching the eye of Prosthetic Records

Writing and recording is now complete on the follow up to Vanished Cadavers, promising 10 new tracks of agonising death metal rippers.  More news on the sophomore album and other Molder activities will be available in the coming months. For now, the band have announced two shows, including a performance at Wake Brewing alongside Ringworm and others, and their first headliner of 2021 at Reggies.

Tour dates:

8/14 Chicago, IL – Reggies Rock Club
9/10 Rock Island, IL – Wake Brewing

Molder is:

Dominic Vaia – bass
Kyle Pooley – drums
Aaren Pantke – vocals/guitar
