Experimental outfit Midwife will be releasing her fourth studio album, No Depression in Heaven on September 6th via The Flenser. The track listing and cover art by Sam Rupsa can be found below. Speaking of the effort, which was mostly penned while on tour, Midwife mastermind Madeline Johnston said of it:
“It’s about the transient nature of what we do. Our bodies are vessels –– our bodies are, together, a vessel, a vehicle, and that togetherness allows us to become something larger than ourselves in the slipstream of the unconscious, droving.”
The announcement is accompanied by the effort’s first single “Killdozer”. Check out the video below, which was filmed and edited Curt Heiner. No Depression in Heaven is available for pre-order now and be secured on physical and digital formats here.
