SPKR welcomes renowned UK label House of Mythology to the family.
House of Mythology is dedicated to releasing ambitious music across genres such as avant-garde, experimental, ambient, electronic, psychedelic, and progressive forms. Their catalogue includes celebrated releases by artists such as Ulver, Current 93, Alora Crucible, Teleplasmiste, Stian Westerhus, Daniel O’Sullivan, The Stargazer’s Assistant, Zu, and many more. Their attention to detail, high-quality LP editions, and distinctive visual identity makes them a naturally perfect fit for SPKR. House of Mythology has developed into a respected home for adventurous and enigmatic music, guided by a strong artistic vision.
With its focus on physical products and strong artistic vision, House of Mythology is perfectly complementing the SPKR family of labels that already includes Prophecy Productions, Magnetic Eye Records, Dependent Records, Kyrck Productions & Armour, Testimony Records, Kunsthall, and the book publishing company Index Verlag. SPKR has been collaborating with House of Mythology ever since their founding regarding production and distribution. As of now, SPKR will also handle all sectors concerning the operative business such as promotion, marketing, product management, and digital distribution, which includes the complete existing catalogue. The current label management will continue to sign responsible for A&R, and the artistic as well as strategic direction of the label.
