Official press release:

Tampa, Florida-based Meatwound will release their third LP, Culero, through Financial Ruin in August. The band has issued a brief trailer for the album, offering a foretaste of its assault.

The band was founded by scene veterans also with Combatwoundedveteran, Holy Mountain, Headless Dogs, Primate Research, and many prior acts throughout the past two decades or more, who unify those styles and tones into Meatwound. The band’s gnarled and caustic style of metallic hardcore punk writhes with swamplike tactics and demoralizing tones, with damaging results every time.

See a short teaser for Culero here:

Meatwound’s Culero will see release on vinyl August 2nd through Financial Ruin – the label forged by vocalist Daniel Wallace – with distribution through Dead Tank Records, and the digital via Pax Aeternum.

Watch for audio samples, official videos, pre-order links, and much more on the Culero LP to be issued in the days ahead.

Meatwound will tour surrounding the release of Culero including a release show with labelmates Horsewhip on July 27th, an East Coast tour with lablemates Thunderclap being organized for late summer, and a performance at The Fest in Gainesville, Florida the first week of November.
