Official press release:
The Make America Rock Again Tour did just what its name promised this summer – hitting 44 cities and drawing nearly 60,000 rock fans! The tour will return in 2017, re-branding as simply Make America Rock, aiming for bigger and better shows for fans. Visit MakeAmericaRock.com and sign up for the e-mail list, and/or follow Make America Rock on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for news on next year’s tour.
Trapt vocalist Chris Taylor Brown states:
“Make America Rock Again was easily one of the most fun tours we’ve done in years. We had a blast with all the bands on this tour! The tens of thousands of fans who came out made this tour what is was – awesome. We are looking forward to doing it again in 2017 and making it an even bigger event!”
In a band statement, Saliva adds:
“Thank you to every single Saliva fan that either came out or tried to make it to the shows. We love you and will see you again in a city near you soon. Look out, 2017!”
Tour creator Alex Ross also adds:
“I’d like to thank all of the bands that participated in the inaugural Make America Rock Again Tour – Saliva, Trapt, Alien Ant Farm, Saving Abel, Crazytown, Tantric, 12 Stones, Drowning Pool, Puddle of Mudd, VAST and P.O.D. These bands brought the rock around the country throughout all 44 dates on the tour. Most importantly, I’d like to thank all of the fans out there who supported the bands. Without your support, this wouldn’t have been possible.”
