Lamb of God release “Laid to Rest (HEALTH remix)”

Lamb of God have released a new version of their hit song “Laid to Rest”. This new version of the track is a remixed version by California industrial noise outfit HEALTH. This new verision of the song is one of several bonuses on the upcoming 20th anniversary edition of their seminal full-length Ashes of the Wake. Frontman Randy Blythe commented on the track, saying:

“When we were discussing ideas for the 20th anniversary of Ashes of the Wake, a HEALTH remix was one of the first things we thought of. Thanks to those guys for being a part of the anniversary release.”

HEALTH added:

“Before you get angry with us for ruining your favorite song, please try to remember that Lamb of God asked us to do this remix. Enjoy!”

The Ashes of the Wake (20th Anniversary Edition) is scheduled to drop on August 30th via Epic Records and Legacy Recordings. The effort also features a re-recording of their track “Another Nail For Your Coffin” featuring Kublai Khan TX’s Matt Honeycutt and Malevolence’s Alex Taylor (listen below). Tomorrow, Lamb of God kick off the Ashes of Leviathan Tour, which they are co-headlining with Mastodon in a joint celebration of the 20th anniversaries of their respective landmark records, Ashes of the Wake and Leviathan.
