Norwegian metallers Kvelertak have announced that their new studio record, titled Nattesferd, will hit shelves May 13th via Roadrunner. The band comments:
We are very happy with this beast that we’ve created, we can’t wait for you guys to hear it! First taste from the record will come in the form of a dystopian rock’n’roll anthem titled ‘1985’, this tune will be available from your usual digital outlets on Friday. We’re also stoked on our upcoming US tour with Torche and Wild Throne where we’ll be performing a lot of a new material, this will be the first chance to witness the new songs if May seems too far away.”
The news comes with the release of a new song, listen to “1985”. The record was mixed/mastered by Nick Terry (Turbonegro, The Libertine) at Amper Tone Studio in the band’s native Norway. Pre-orders for the effort will begin on April 8th.
