Slayer guitarist Kerry King has shared numerous detail on his new, eponymous outfit. One of the biggest mysteries was who would be joining him on his new venture. The lineup is made up of seasoned metallers, most of whom you will certainly recognize:

Mark Osegueda (Death Angel) – vocals
Phil Demmel (Vio-lence, ex-Machine Head) – guitar
Kyle Sanders (HELLYEAH, ex-bloodsimple.) – bass
Paul Bostaph (ex-Slayer, ex-Testament, etc.) – drums

Details on the group’s full-length debut have also been revealed. It has been titled From Hell I Rise and will be released on May 17th via Reigning Phoenix Music. Production was handled by Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, All That Remains). Pre-orders are live here. The Lead single “Idle Hands” has also made its premiere, listen below.

In an in-depth interview with Rolling Stone, King said that “Idle Hands” and another track titled “Rage” are from the sessions for Slayer’s final full-length Repentless. He said:

King also shared that Phil Anselmo (Pantera, Down, etc.) was in the running to front the group. He said:

At this time, Kerry King have confirmed two performances. Their live debut will be at this year’s Welcome to Rockville on Thursday, May 9th. That event is taking place at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. The group’s second performance will be the Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival one week later on May 16th. Sonic Temple will be held in Columbus, Ohio at Historic Crew Stadium.
