Official press release:
Upstate New York-based Closed Casket Activates has signed Lubbock, Texas-based metallic hardcore outfit Judiciary, for impending release of the band’s debut full-length album.
The new Judiciary album was tracked and produced by Taylor Young at The Pit Recording Studio in Van Nuys, California, and mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk at Solomon’s Gate in Philadelphia. Watch for further details on the album to be released in the weeks ahead, and the album to follow this fall.
Since 2014, Judiciary has hit the scene hard, touring regionally throughout the US several times – both on their own as well as with acts including Cruel Hand, Lifeless, Varials, Purgatory, and others – and toured Europe and the UK early this year with Guilt Trip. The band has performed at notable fests including Midwest Blood 2016, Sound And Fury 2016, Fallcore 2016 and 2017, Flyover Fest 2017, Trouble N Texas Fest 2018, Bollwerk Hardcore Fest 2018, and more.
Judiciary released their debut demo in 2014, followed by their The Axis Of Equality EP, self-released on LP in 2016. The band self-released a split cassette with Mortality Rate in 2017, which caught the ear of Closed Casket Activities (Full Of Hell, Xibalba, Incendiary) who sanctioned the band for their new full-length.
