Denver avant ritualists itchy-O are excited to announce their brand new music video for “Gallow’s Disco”, the first single from the upcoming album From The Overflowing, which is due out September 8th on Alternative Tentacles. To view the video, visit the group’s YouTube channel.
“Gallow’s Disco” was directed by Joe Nicolosi, who provided visual effects for “The Babysitter Murders”, an official selection of Fantastic Fest, Telluride Horror Show, Fantasia, and other world-renowned film festivals. Nicolosi was supported by producer Stephanie Noone and cinematographer Jason Harter.
The new video comes ahead of an August 26th Album Release Show at Gothic Theatre in Englewood, CO, as well as a U.S. tour, which will include stops in Austin, New Orleans, Kansas City, Chicago and other major cities.
The 50-member group has played with David Byrne & St. Vincent’s Band, as well as Iggy Pop, Bad Religion, and Public Enemy during Riot Fest performances. They’ve also opened for Devo, Beats Antique, and Melvins and have headlined Fantastic Fest, Stanley Film Festival, Denver Center for Performing Art’s Hallowmass and Tasmania’s Dark Mofo.
