Swedish melodic metallers In Flames have announced they will be releasing their twelfth studio full-length, titled Battles, this year. The official release is scheduled for September 23rd through Nuclear Blast/Eleven Seven Music. The group worked with producer Howard Benson, who has worked previously with Sepultara and P.O.D.. Additionally, two new songs off the album premiered this week; listen to “The End” (via Decibel) and “The Truth” below. The record’s cover art has also been revealed and can be viewed after the jump. Pre-orders and more will be released at a later date.
